Women’s Fast Pitch is Going Nationwide in 2020!

If you are a female founder who would like to participate in the Stella Labs’ and Stella Angels’ Women’s Fast Pitch, please review the criteria and apply below.

Selected (up to five) female founders will have the opportunity to pitch in front of a panel of investors at their regional WFP competition. Specific dates are listed below under each region. Competitions will take place at 3pm (local time). Each regional winner will advance to the 2020 Women’s Venture Summit to pitch against finalists from across the country. Women’s Venture Summit is a virtual two-day event taking place September 18-19, 2020.

Prize:
Opportunity to advance to the final stage of the competition and pitch at the 2020 Women’s Venture Summit.
One winner will take home a $10K investment and $30K in in-kind services!

Criteria:
Female founder must have formed an entity by June 1, 2020
The Company must not have raised over ten (10) million dollars in funding from combined funding source
At least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of their submission of an entry (or teams of such individuals)
Registered corporations, LLC, or sole proprietorship within the United States
Must be majority woman-owned

You may only apply once and to the region your legal business entity is established even if your business spans more than one region.

For 2020, we will accept applications within the US as this is our inaugural year doing the Women’s Fast Pitch nationwide. We will look into opening up the applications to our international audience in 2021!

Regional winner receives inclusion in the 2020 Women’s Venture Summit program, a two-day virtual event that invites and activates investors to improve access to capital for female founders. The winner of the Summit receives an investment of $10K in the current structure of the raise (convertible note, etc.), $30k in gifts in kind, and possibility of the creation of an SPV with interested investors.
